I live with my wife Amy in Vermont, along with four dogs and a cat -- although I lived for 50 years in Virginia.

I attended Old Dominion University and Virginia Tech.

I'm a Staff Engineer doing DevOps work these days, refreshing and deepening my technical skills, although I have also been a manager many times. Before getting into DevOps I did application development for many years.

I have two grown sons who are also into computers.

I enjoy baking (especially bread), reading, movies, and live music.
